Sky Planes
Sky planes is an alpha, which I want Your thoughts about. When you're playing the game, there's quite much to think of alredy. So read the controlls and instructions carefully. The game is not very much yet, you fly an aircraft, there are 3 runways you can land on, there are some other aircafts in the sky which you can shoot down with your missiles.
Controlls:
Right Arrow = Throttle up
Left Arrow = Throttle down and break when engine is at 0%
Up Arrow = Ascend
Down Arrow = Descend
Keypad 0 = Airbrake
Enter = Fire missile
Space = Landing gear up/down and when standing still on runway, repair and refill fuel
Ctrl = Restart game
Esc = End game
Tips:
Your aircraft will be able to ascend at 15 km/h. If you have less speed you will not be able to ascend. When flying a speed of less than 15 km/h will result in stall.
Your max speed is about 110 km/h, but your engines max speed is around 80 km/h.
Always throttle up to 100% when ascending, otherwise you'll loose speed.
Raise your landing gear directly after takeoff, so you dont loose them.
If you want to slow down, use the airbrake. Do not throttle down, especially if you're hunting an enemy aircraft.
Think about your engine, the higher engine use, the higher amount fuel consumed.
Make sure you don't fly in to another aircraft, it will result in fuel leak and engine failure.
Your engine will become ineffective at 80 km/h, even with full throttle. Only way to reach a higher speed is to descend.
If you want to shoot down the enemy heavy aircraft, fly at an altitude at around 1400 m, it's there you find it.
When you hit the heavy aircraft with a missile, there is a chance for it to get engine failure. It will then try to land to repair itself. Make sure to destroy it before it have landed, otherwise it will takeoff and climb to around 2500 m.
The heavy aircraft is hard to destroy because it's slow speed. Use your airbrake with full throttle to easily bring it down.
When you start to hunt an enemy aircraft(not the heavy one) it will speed up to get rid of you, and also ascend and descend.
Take good use of the airbrake, it's your best weapon against other aircrafts.
Land carefuly, a hard landing might result in fuel leak or engine failure.
You can land slightly harder on a runway, but it's only on runways you can get repaired,
If you for some reason loose your wheels, you'll need to land very carefully. It will probably result in fuel leak and engine failure and that is not importand as long as you end up on a runway and can get repaired.
When trying to land without wheels, everything works fine as a landing spot, except for water.
Keep track of your fuel, no fuel means no engine.
You can see speed, angle, fuel, engine power and height. But when your aircraft gets damage you'll also see wheel loss, no fuel, engine failure and fuel leak. They are all displayed in red if they are relevant.
